The company F.lli Santacroce/ Santacroce Brothers was founded 1967 by Cav. Antonio Santacroce producing only roses,
cloves and gladiolas. We can be found in Calabria/Italy easily reachable from: Lamezia Terme airport approx. 10 km; Train Station Lamezia Terme 12 km; Highway exit Pizzo 4 km; Port of Vibo Marina 20 km; or Port of Gioia Tauro 50 km. The total surface of land,
green houses and sales halls is about 700.000 qm with 80.000 qm dedicated to avant-garde infrastructures in which the usual soil is substituted by the mineral pearlite or coconut fibres. In 1997 the sons create the Santacroce Group,
which encloses the companies F.lli Santacroce and Santacroce srl. During the year 2006 the group enlarges his activity with the foundation of 3 new companies,
as they are: Hotel Angitola,
Hotel L´Aquario and Sant´Edil. The Santacroce Brothers nowadays are the leader of breeding and selling of cut flowers and pot plants using the latest technologies under supervision of highly trained personnel. The Top Production is: Roses,
Chrysanthemum,
Anthurium,
Gerbera and Lilium. Furthermore the production includes: Iris,
Tulips,
Alstroemeria and all annual plants like Geraniums,
Petunias,
etc. as well as the classic Poinsettia for Christmas. At the "Fiera Flora" of Herculaneum in November 2006 the first price for the most beautiful flower arrangements goes to Santacroce,
under an international rewarded jury and amongst 200 floriculturists of Europe. 2007 the company receives the Certificate DNV and becomes the first cut flower breeder to have 5 acknowledged quality products (Roses,
Gerbera,
Anthurium and Lily) as well as the Certificate UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 for the low consumption of chemical pesticides during the breeding of cut flowers and green- and blooming pot plants. In September the same year they participate at the flowers fair “Flormart Miflor" of Padua gaining lots of appreciation and international interest. |
